Sick of Sickness
We are on yet another round of some sort of stomach bug at our house. Two kids down and I'm sure the third will be not feeling well soon. I can't help but wonder what has made this such an unhealthy winter? Am I not wiping away the germs as well? Has my harping on hand washing fallen on deaf ears?

It's surely been a record-setting amount spent on tissue and cold medicine this year for my family. The same goes for trips to the doctors office. It gives me a headache (more of those this year as well) just thinking about it! Nothing is worse for me that watching my kids suffer with an illness.

I can't wait for warm weather to wipe out whatever germs that seem to be thriving near members of my family. Here's to a healthier spring and summer!

Movie On Us!
Please join Upper Cervical Health Centers Of America on
Thursday, June 5th, 7:00pm at Des Peres 14 Cine for the premiere screening
of the documentary short, “The Power Of Upper Cervical”

June 5th, 2008, Des Peres, MO – Countless patients have reported having their health restored through Upper Cervical Care. Every breath you take, every heart beat, wiggling of your fingers, to eye sight, to pain, to disease, even depression is controlled by your massive computer system - your brain & brain stem.

“My problems didn’t show up for years. I began suffering fatigue and pain at levels I never knew possible. I called it sane suicide because you cannot live in that kind of endless torture. There was no quality of life and no medication strong enough to help, nor Doctors who had empathy, because they could not find anything wrong with me. There was no one to help.”

“I came across Upper Cervical Care and incredible Upper Cervical doctors who have saved so many peoples’ lives. They need to be acknowledged. I think they are brain stem spinal engineers, although in reality, they are just enabling the body to do what is intended to do - heal itself. This short documentary and educational piece comes from the hearts and minds of the people who will not rest until the world understands the Power of Upper Cervical Care. There is a reason for your suffering. I see and hear of peoples’ lives being changed every day. There is nothing too big or too small that shouldn’t be considered for this care.”

Be well, Cristina Barretta - “Former Sufferer”

ABOUT ME
Wendy Erkison
Name: Wendy Erikson
Location: St. Louis, MO

Ever since I was a high school girl in Chicago,  I wanted to be a television journalist.   Here I am, eighteen years in the business and I haven't had a boring day on the job yet!  I started out reporting on fires, crime and school board meetings.    When the news schedule got a little too difficult for juggling my job and my growing family,  I was given a wonderful opportunity to join Show Me St. Louis.   Now I spend my days checking out new places to shop, eat and play!   I also get to meet interesting people on a daily basis.

I love the fact that Show Me St. Louis is a source of "fun" information for people.    Where's a good place to have a birthday party? What's the new exhibit at the Art Museum.   What restaurant has a romantic setting for two parents in desperate need for a "no kids" night out?   When and where is the Hannah Montana concert?  It's all information I am interested in as a wife and mother of three girls.  It helps to work with such talented people on Show Me St. Louis, from the producers, to the photographers, to my on-air pals, Lewis and Courtney.   We have some stress, but mostly a great time getting Show Me St. Louis on the air every day.   I feel so fortunate to have a job I enjoy after so much after all these years!
